Day 1 - La Paz
Arrival to the imposing city of La Paz at 3600 meters above sea level, where our exclusive guide will be waiting for you and will explain the detailed itinerary to make your stay one of the best of your life. Transfer to the hotel in the city.
Day 2 - La Paz
Breakfast at the hotel. We begin your majestic adventure with a trip of an hour and a half by a fully paved road to visit Tiwanaku “Cradle of the American civilization”, this archaeological site is among the oldest of the Andean cultures and its remains are surprising for its monumentality and the perfection of the construction and decorative technique. You will visit the following attractions: Museums of Tiwanaku and several ruins such as the Akapana Pyramid, Temple of Kalasasaya, Puerta del Sol, Fraile and Ponce Monoliths and the semi-subterranean Temple. You will also have the opportunity to observe the craftsmanship of the area: small stones carefully carved, taking as a model monoliths, Tiwanaku and Aymara amulets, as well as the pottery worked with great skill as ceremonial vessels, sahumadores, door of the sun and others. Additionally, we will visit the Puma Punku Temple, also known as a pre-Inca workshop. Return to the hotel.
In the afternoon, we continue to know this wonderful city where you will appreciate the cultural, historical, architectural and natural richness. We visit the main square “Pedro Domingo Murillo”, the Metropolitan Cathedral, the National Congress and the Government Palace (exterior view), Museum of Precious Metals (closed Monday), Killi Killi viewpoint from where you have a panoramic view of the city of La Paz and the snowy mountain of Illimani, replica of the semi-subterranean temple of Tiwanaku. Then we move to the south to observe the change of climate and style of construction of the houses and then move to the Valley of the Moon, a place that will challenge your imagination, generating the feeling of being in a small moor of the moon, its forms are the product of erosion and resemble volcanic craters. You will also have the opportunity to take a ride on one of the cable cars of our city and finish visiting the market of the witches where local people buy products needed for ceremonies or rituals such as the Challa and offerings to the Pachamama (mother earth). Return to the hotel to rest.
Day 3 - La Paz - Uyuni
Early light breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board the domestic flight to the impressive Salar de Uyuni.
Arrival and transfer to the city center to start the tour of one of the tourist wonders of Bolivia.
We start with a visit to the Train Cemetery 10 minutes from Uyuni, visit to Colchani handicraft market, salt handicraft stores, woven llama wool, alpaca and appreciate the artisanal processing of salt. We continue with a visit to the salt piles, salt water eyes, monument to the Dakar Rally, Plaza of flags of the world. Then, visit to the First Salt Hotel, a museum-restaurant, where we will have lunch, when it is cold and windy with dust. Lunch is a picnic on the salt flats, with tablecloths and colorful pillows. After lunch we will visit the Incahuasi Island with giant cactus, where we will hike to the top of the island, from where you can see the entire Uyuni salt flat, and on the salt flat you can take unimaginable pictures and film exclusive and truthful videos in perspective. We will return over the salt flat to see the sunset in mirror effect, return to the village and transfer to the selected hotel.
Day 4 - Uyuni - La Paz
Breakfast at the hotel. Transfer to the airport to board the flight to the city of La Paz. Arrival and transfer to the hotel. Free afternoon for personal activities. Overnight at selected hotel.
Day 5 - La Paz
Breakfast at the hotel. At the agreed time, transfer to the airport to board your international flight.
